Welcome to Simon Lee’s website. I am a Postdoctoral Research Scientist in the Department of Applied Physics and Applied Mathematics at Columbia University, New York. I hold PhD and MMet degrees from the Department of Meteorology at the University of Reading, UK. I am also Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Royal Meteorological Society journal ‘Weather’.
On this website you can find:
- Forecasts of the Arctic polar vortex
- A list of my publications
- Weather and climate science blog
- Some useful web links to monitor the stratosphere
